Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.  He started his career in the assurance practices of Arthur Andersen and Deloitte and has worked for several large consulting firms including Huron Consulting and FTI Consulting.  He has significant experience specializing in advising executive management and counsel in a wide range of accounting, financial, forensic, and business matters.  He is experienced in assisting clients and auditors with accounting restatement matters, assessing compliance and internal control structures, and providing technical accounting expertise.  He is further experienced in starting several companies as an owner and operator and providing CFO and Controller level services. As a result of Mike’s experiences, he has a keen knowledge of accounting and finance departments.  He has worked with a wide range of clients including start-ups and Fortune 100 companies.
